First, let’s get to know each other! You can send through a request for a sample edit of 10 pages from the middle of your manuscript and/or we have a free discovery conversation to discuss your project, what you’re looking for, and answer any questions you have about the process. It also lets us get a feel for each other and see if we’d be a good fit to work together!

Next, we choose the timeframe for the edits to be completed, both sign the editing contract, and you pay a deposit. (multiple payment plan options available)

You submit your completed manuscript by the deadline specified, along with a style sheet if you have one.

I read your manuscript line-by-line, analyzing sentence flow, voice, literary devices, and clarity. Changes are made in the manuscript with Track Changes, and in-line comments are added where needed for explanations of the changes and to query the writer.

I write a comprehensive guide to your line edit, highlighting what types of changes I’ve made and why that you can refer back to again and again.

I return both your manuscript with edits and your guide, and we book our coaching call for one week later to discuss the guide and my comments and feedback, and any other questions you may have.
