In a developmental edit, I’ll review your novel for the big picture items—plot, pacing, characters, and themes—and provide you with an in-depth editorial letter and two coaching calls designed to help you strengthen your writing and make sure it’s reflecting the story you want to tell.
Manuscript Evaluation
Not ready for a full developmental edit, but feeling lost on what your manuscript needs before you dive back into the next draft? I’ll provide an evaluation of your story’s strengths and areas for improvement, focusing on plot, pacing, characters, and overall impact to help you take the next steps with confidence. It’s basically a dev edit, but on a smaller scale.
Proofreading Edit
Have a finished manuscript that just needs a final polish before publication? In a proofreading edit, I’ll closely read your entire manuscript to correct typos, grammar, and spelling, as well as ensure stylistic consistency throughout.
